We participate in the Sunday 11.00am mass at the Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit, Archdiocese of Singapore.  As one of the parish's five choirs, our goal is to help the congregation experience spiritual uplifting through music.

Brief History

Formed in 1967, we are the first choir of this parish. In the beginning, we were simply called the 10am choir. As other choirs were formed, each had its own name. It was in 1992 that we decided to call ourselves the St. David's Choir. This name came about from the St. David's mass parts we were singing then. 

Commitments

We are looking for people who love God and want to express that love in song every Sunday. Come visit us after any 11.00am Sunday mass, or send as an email.

Our weekly practice sessions are held immediately after Sunday Mass from noon to about 1.30pm. We participate in the Easter Vigil, Christmas Mass, Days of Obligation, and weddings. We also sing in some Archdiocesan celebrations such as the Episcopal Ordination of Archbishop Nicholas Chia, Sacerdotal Ordination of Fr Stanley Pang, and Final Profession of Sr Wendy Ooi. 

Enrichment

We enrich ourselves in 3 areas. For our spiritual growth, we organize Days of Recollections and Spiritual Retreats. To enhance our singing, we attend Choral Workshops and practice sessions. In establishing fellowship, we have social outings such as movies, feasting, etc.
